At Strongsville Smile Keepers, we’ve chosen to stay independent — which means we’re not controlled by insurance companies when it comes to your care. That gives us the freedom to recommend what’s best for your dental health, not just what an insurance plan happens to cover.

Dental insurance can be helpful, but most plans have yearly maximums that haven’t changed in decades, even as the cost of care has gone up. It’s easy to hit those limits quickly — especially if you need more than just routine cleanings. In addition, insurance may only approve silver fillings instead of tooth-colored fillings, or only pay for a large filling instead of a crown. We think your treatment should be your choice.

Dr. William Mayo once said, “The best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered.” That’s our guiding principle, too.
